bigtime sucker scene

I often hear from people that kapag minalas ka daw, sunod-sunod. Either thrice in a row or if you start the day with a misfortune, you will have a bad day all throughout.

It was last week when all the bad luck occurred and it seems like it's still haunting me, parang tipong nanliligaw sa kin si kamalasan at ayaw akong tantanan..haaayyy..next time ha, bring some flowers and chocolates naman para matuwa ako..

No offense meant for those who can read this blog, I know some people may be hurt with what I'm gonna write (paranoid lang ako, I don't know) but I just want to speak my mind..

Note: All the names and places will be withheld. So if you think ur included in my list of disasters this week, bahala ka. Two things lang yan dear, either it's true or paranoid ka lang din..

Scenario 1:

I think this was the start of it all. The ONE and ONLY story that I would gladly tell everyone ... dahil aral ito sa mga....

Panget na salarin..

I went to a very far place last weekend to watch our manok perform. They were invited by this famous singer to play along with other bands. Even if it was a rainy and expectantly uber traffic Friday night, we still managed to arrive earlier than the rest.
There were three girls at the entrance but I don't know kung baket ko tinawag na girl ang isang ito..

As I was paying for my entrance fee:

Feelingrocker: (In a very angas voice) Miss, anong banda ka?
Me: (feeling nagulat and napa-why the hell sa isip ko) Hindi ako performer, sha--pointing
to prettyboy..

Hello?! Mukha ba akong member ng band? Kaya nga ako nagbayad ng entrance fee e, dahil isa lang akong hamak na audience! Magisip..

At eto ang pinaka the best:

Prettyboy: Pang ilan ba kme? (sa tutugtog)
Feelingrocker: Pang-lima.

Okay, so we waited for the four other bands to finish their own version of PEOPLE POWER sa stage. NOISE BARRAGE ito!!!! Kung nakakapagsalita lang ang eardrums ko..Then after the four bands, tayo na shempre ang manok ko..when..

Feelingrocker: Sorry, (pero maangas pa rin), may iba pa palang bands, pang 9 pala kayo..

LAHAT KME, of course, gulat. Pero ang manok ko, ok lang sa kanila..After all, they think 9 is their lucky number.

Again, we patiently waited for their turn. Deep frying our eardrums. There was this time when I couldn't take it anymore, I went out for some silence.

Ayan na, 2am na, and band number 8 is up on stage. I still can remember the vocalist, pano ba naman he looked like my friend's BF. Anyhow, they had this feeling that something terrible was going to happen. When it was their turn, f**k wala ng tao dba? So kame na naman ang audience! Ayus lang until...

Sleeping fairy: (anxious faced) pare, pang-huli daw tayo!
pretty boy: tang***!! wag na!!(packing up the things)
redhorse: tang***!! wag na tayo tumugtog!

Ang gago diba? Nakakagago! At eto pa paglabas namen..Angas pa talaga ni feeling rocker! Ang dyongggeet!!

Feelingrocker: Sorry, production lang ako! (WITH ALL THE SARCASM, ha!!!)

Oh ayan, gaga, nawalan ka tuloy ng kita. Shempre kinuha ng manok ko ang bayad namen..Pasalamat ka at naging babae ka, kung hinde...

e suntukan na to...

At di ko pipigilan ang manok ko..magkabasagan pa ng bote. Pucha. Ok lang sinabunutan ko naman eh.. (sa isip ko nga lang) hehe..

And the mega highlight:

When we were dropped off, nadulas si prettyboy..AHEHEHEHE... :)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
**scenarios 2 and 3 next time.
i-m lethargic..

the longest yard

As expected, this movie starred by Adam Sandler once again tickled my bones with funny scenes. It's amusing to see a lot of famous hollywood celebrities and sports personalities too. Imagine Stone Cold (WWF), Nelly (RnB singer), Chris Rock, (and of course) Rob Schneider in it, what more entertaining can you imagine? Lafftrip indeed..

The story was about the pro quarterback (Sandler) suspended in a football league because he allegedly 'shove points' (which I didn't get at first since I don't know anything about football--and meant pala like binenta nya ung last game he played if I'm not mistaken) From then on, he became such a loser and ended up being imprisoned.

He had then met the warden of the cell which blackmailed him to put up a football team, composed of inmates who will be matched up on a game with the boastful guards, in which if he didn't do will make him live like hell in jail. Without a choice, he made up a team that eventually becomes his close friends then later on made him realize the value of friendship as he took part in achieving the squad's victory.

***Rating: 7/10

my say: A typical friendship-revolving-around-sports comedy movie. Although I already knew what the story would be like, I found myself still wishing that the finale would be the one I want, a happy ending :evidently.

I recommend you to listen to its OST- Fly away by Nelly. Very nice.

Downloaded one from limewire. Here's the lyrics:

FLY AWAY
-Nelly-

[Nelly Talking]
Free City
This is a shout out to every young brother ya know
Thats doin his thing right now
Keep ya head up..
He's walkin the yard wishin he had wings
Ya know so he could fly up out that joint
Man

[Intro]
If I could, fly away
Ooo and I wouldn't come back no more
I, I'd turn around
Just to see you for the last time
See, now I know
Hey, that it won't be easy
I done fought in a battle, and I done made it this far
I gotta few more feet, but its still the longest yard

[Verse 1]
Man, it's the longest yard I ever had to get in my life
And see my life ain't right, if my wife don't write
My niggaz cant eat if the fish don't bite
My raise the gross sales, like Mike and Ike
Now big brother almighty
I keep a gamma ray, i'ma G-5 G
Take a G-5 jeep, G-5 deep
Too some of their bare feet
And that jeep don't speak
Listen mayne they lock it down round herre
See body bag and gag and your found round herre
This as serious as it sound round herre
The guards guard the ground, 4 pounds round herre
And they ain't playin, they're just lettin you know
That anything they want to happen, nigga happen real slow
Get the word from upstairs, put you in that hole
I cant take it, I'm just ready to go

[Chorus]
If I could, fly away
Ooo and I wouldn't come back no more
I, I'd turn around
Just to see you for the last time
See, now I know
Hey, that it won't be easy
I done fought in a battle, and I done made it this far
I gotta few more feet, but its still the longest yard
Yeah yeah, its still the longest yard
Uh uh, its still the longest yard
Um um, its still the longest yard
I done fought in a battle and I done made it this far

[Verse 2]
I'm in my cell 20 hours a day
And doin push-ups ever hour a day
Cause im tryin to keep the cowards away
Thats why im markin off the calendar days
Tryin to get it out of the way
And im just tryin to keep a piece of mine
And im gon shame a motherfucker with a piece of mine
Cause he tryin to take a piece of mine
So im gon slice his ass a piece at a time
But now that they close the door
Lock me in and cell 30 deep but its built for 10
Tell me what kind of world they got you in
With the barbed wire fences, box u in
From now, til they turn off the lights
I'ma read anything in sight
Its kinda hard tryin to read at night
But I'ma change my life
And hope another brother take this flight

[Chorus]

[Verse 3]
(Oohh no) I gotta make it out this place some how
(Oohh no) Man I really believe that I done turned it around
(Oohh no) You see, all I need is that second chance to show
since I crossed the ration, my obligation of rehabilitation
(Oohh no) They can punch me high, and they can kick me low
(Oohh no) But I mean its gonna take more than that for them to break my soul
(Oohh no) Man its hard for people to understand what its like to be
gated, incarcerated, I just cant take it
but I'ma make it man to see better days

[Chorus]

[Hook]
If I could fly away
If I could I turn around
If I could fly away

I wanted to write something that pops out of my mind now. Have time to lend me your eyeballs, i'd be happy to see your eyes sore..

Poof. Just fooling around.

I'd like to thank my avid friendster viewers, grabe ha, 500 views last month.. Well, i'm super flattered you always try to know what's up with me. I'm glad i'm still alive, whoever you are, sucker!:D

Poof. Just fooling around.

Today is one of those days I hate (as if today is a person). Aside from hearing a bad news (which I hope will be ok soon), i'm experiencing a lot of thinking again. Oh yes, again. But i'm trying to control it especially when mean people come my way and add up to my very unlovely-wish-to-be-in-heaven days. Ay dont wa na firick awt agen. Now this is becoming a nonsense shit.

Out, me fool.

third sex

It's 2am already, dammit, can't sleep again. Insomnia attack!

I bloghopped. My eyes sore. But can't help but read, read, read coz I found this blogsite that wakes me up now. The entries are long but very entertaining. Y? Because the author is a jan jaran jan...BADINGERZIE..

The third sex. Gay. Jokla. Bading. Bakla. Binabae --Personally, I have nothing against them, I love gay people. They make me laugh, very artistic and creative too. But you know, sometimes, being around them make me feel lucky--that I am a genuine girl. Pero come to think of it, isn't more fortunate to be a girl and a boy (or the other way) at the same time? Hehe..Just popped in my head.

Ang mundo ng kabaklaan. What's nice with them is that MOST of these people are real. Very upfront, seldom you can meet those that are plastic. If they don't like you, they really don't, unlike the girls--mostly, you can never tell what's in their mind and hard to deal with. Kelangan pa hulihin ang ugali.

The best artistic and creative creatures belong to the gay world. With great sense in fashion, no wonder most of them become our top designers and beauticians.

***
My bestfriend was born a natural female but grew up to be gay. When I'm with her, grabe ang lingo, 'di ko keri?!! (oh, did i just use one?hahaha) An example of our 'talk':

ME: Uy, bestfriend (BF) kita naman tayo..
BF: Cge keri lang...

At Starbucks:
BF: Patingin naman ng nyelpie mo? (celfone).
Na-lukresia naman ako sa dami ng pics, pero bat wa-akech?

Oh, this is really fun.

Hell yeah, context clues nalang so I'd get it. She's working in a call center and most of her friends are badings. Oftentimes, I gave her friends the impression that I'm shy, kse naman I don't talk like how I normally do coz all of them are so chatty. Plus, it's more enjoyable to hear stories from them, very straight-forward when it comes to sex.

Like girls, grabe then sila magmahal, to the point that they never leave anything for themselves. But unlike us, the masculine side of them takes place when it comes to crying, rarely that I see one weeping in front of his friends (except pag lasing).

They can be the best love doctors too. They give advices too as if they're both girl and guy, presenting the two sides of the story.

Although SOME may obliterate the image of being a gay, I have high respects for MOST of them.

skeleton key

Watched this movie last Friday at Glorietta 4 and found it quite good. There were a lot of scary scenes, almost fits in to a classic suspense-thriller but this has a fairly different twist in the end. As the pretty Kate Hudson leads the role of a nursing student who has this passion for taking care of elderly men, she landed a job in a haunted-like house with an unusual people around. The story then unfolds the mystery of black magic, "hoodoo", which showed the history of two siblings who practiced it years ago and still does at the present times. And the reason why they do? That's the tale you don't wanna miss as the ending explained the deception and its unexpected finish.

I bid goodbye to my "Save yourself" thing that I can't live without. Only me can understand this..Hehe..Dont bother..

Some people just don't plain understand me. And I wouldn't mind. But you know, you're way too overboard man. Hit me again and I'll show you what you deserve. Look at your head, hydrocephalus-airhead-freakin ugly!!!!

MOBILE REVIEW

I was supposedly out Saturday night but felt so much tireness, I couldn't help but sleep..I was out earlier that afternoon and went to the mall with my sister because she bought a new fone. I am not bragging it or anything (yeah! YOU read that right, fucker! ) but just wanna tell you people that if you're planning to buy a high-end fone, P910i is a good buy. There are so many cool features and lots of "new" stuff to load (if it happens that you are a nokia owner eversince SMS began). But if you're a picshoor addict, I suggest you not to buy it because one of the downside of it is its camera, compared to 7610, 6630 or higher, olats ang P910i. Also, the battery life is not as good compared to Nokia (if you have 5c batt --orig or 4c batt-class A).

westgate recording

Although some unfortunate event had happened, as the cliche goes: the show must go on. They are moving on..

I guess that thing has not really been digested by all of them since the consequences was not showing YET, but as for me, there will come a time that it will sink in, they'll feel the pain..I just wish something good is going to happen after this. Keep the faith, hold on, coz SOON it'll rain, it will pour..

**
Yesterday was 'waiting day', i hate it. But all good even if some creature can't understand my rants, waiting+hunger= WORLD WAR III!! I so much f*cking HATE it. While I wanted a cold war, the enemy wanted otherwise. Nuclear bomb, made me blind.

I now appreciate Mayonnaise, I don't know why but for some reason, I'm beginning to like their songs. Maybe because Monty's a great guy and I can see he's helping them cope with this cruel entertainment world. Sayang nga lang when now they are starting to build to themselves a lil bit of hope...........

here are some pics...

saguijo baby!

Last night was a whole lotta fun- rock n roll til we dropped. We got there a little early than the other bands, that's why unexpectedly, Maranata had to play first on the list. There were a lot of bands that were supposed to be ahead of them but since it was getting late already, and no one except Mayonnaise had arrived, they were forced to show-off their 'skills' right there and then. I could see they were nervous, the vocalist cannot even introduce the band well. Pero all good after the Mike's guitar adaptor was accidentally unplugged. Talk about nerve-wracking, heart-pounding performance..whew! Ako din kinabahan .. :p

Overall, Maranata's performance was good, except for the small mishap. They'd be great someday. We all wish*..

Mayonnaise staged last and bounced Saguijo joyfully with their last 'jolog' song (quoted from Monty), Jopay. Grabe, performance level. Hehe.. Watch out for TXTUBE (aired at GMA 7)- A day in the life of Mayonnaise! (hopefully this week or the next = will highlight the band's whereabouts, gigs and rakets). Extra kme don kse last night the cameraman was there for the shoot. And also, Maranata will be featured too coz one of Monty's sideline is sound recording/editing --he has a studio in Westmont, Alabang. Watch out for that. :)

*Next week @ East Ave. Maranata with Mayonnaise (the repeat show.naxx).. Hope to see my friends naman!!!!!Hoy!!!:D

OUR 32nd....

30 minutes late, I waited..
Can't stand it, I initiated..
Raging in anger, he was defeated..
But in the end, love was all that mattered..

Glad to be with you still,
Cause if not, don't know how to get real
Unplanned, unexpectedly,
Reached our 32nd .........

family day

Oh what a lucky day!..

******************

Had dinner at Marina Macapagal. La lang just wanna share some pics. :) I can't remember the last time I had my picture taken with my dad. Apparently, since he's always scolding me about too much going out and stuff, in a way we 'somehow' got closer than before. Atleast now, we talk. :D

I love my family. Can't live without them.

another bad movie review

'Bewitched' -just another awful movie. Although the ever pretty Nicole Kidman played the lead role, I just couldn't see other 'nice' things in it. It was actually much better to watch trailers of upcoming movies this year than the movie itself. Yikes. Good thing we haven't spent too much on the tickets. :)
Having the chance to read other reviews online, well, they pretty much agreed on what I thought of it, better stick with the series' reruns.

Though there were funny scenes, the tandem Kidman-Ferrell did not have much impact on us, there was no connection between the two; it's as if they were one of the final four of the reality love show "QPIDS". Terrible indeed..

Watch out for:

*Maranata and Mayonnaise's Gig on Tuesday, August 16 @ SAGUIJO, Makati.

A different blog FROM a different day.. (i mean, night!)

Last night, I went out with my college friends. Bonding Galore lang. And guess where we ended up hanging out?? Ja raaaaannnn!!!! PIER one THE FORT. Omg, it's been 2 straight days and 2 consecutive saturdays that I was in that place. Well, it's not sinusuka ko na ang pier 1 but you know eating 'sisig' everytime you go there can be very harmful to your health, if you know what I mean..Haha..That's why last night, I broke the habit..:p
It was nice seeing my friends again and got the LOONG chance to talk to them. All good. :)
There was a San Miguel beer event and instead of the usual dancing scene, some of the local bands were invited to perform. Was the first time to see Kitchie Nadal play, she's good plus she's pretty too.

After the bands' turn, it turned to a disco house again..I'm not writing these for me to say that I danced my heart out ha, I just remembered that the first song played was 'Ever After' which I often hear but I didn't know the title until last night, I had to ask the waiter pa what's the title.. Loser. Hehe.. I asked who sang it but he didn't know either. What's funny was that we all guessed who's the culprit, and I intuitively uttered: "Aqua?" Damn, Looooosssseeerrrr me... :) Baket, sounds like naman ah...Hehe.. But it's Bonnie Bailey ladies and gents..

Here's the lyrics. Just feel like posting..:D

EVER AFTER
-bonnie bailey-

Three years ago, our journey began
Chasing down this cure, no plan in hand
Just your pulse, my racing guide in the dark
Just knowing with conviction from the start

The moment your eyes made an introduction
I felt my second violent breath of life
Flawless to the point of being godly
Yet I fell hard for your imperfections

And now we're slightly weathered, we're slightly worn
Our hands grip together, eye to eye through the storm, yet
I still believe in ever after with you, yeahhhhh
Cuz life is a pleasure with you by my side,
And there ain't no current in this river we can't ride
I still believe in ever after with you

Nothing compares to the good times
Feels like we're floating, when the rest have to climb
You made me believe in love, and not the perfect kind
A real messy beautiful twisted sunshine

Emotions, volcanic eruptions
We both still care, so we're still alive
Tunnel vision, determination
I want you, I want to make it right

And now we're slightly weathered, we're slightly worn
Our hands grip together, eye to eye through the storm, yet
I still believe in ever after with you, yeahhhhh
Cuz life is a pleasure with you by my side,
And there ain't no current in this river we can't ride
I still believe in ever after with you

You are my twisted sunshine
You are my twisted sunshine

And now we're slightly weathered, we're slightly worn
Our hands grip together, eye to eye through the storm, yet
I still believe in ever after with you, yeahhhhh
Cuz life is a pleasure with you by my side,
And there ain't no current in this river we can't ride
I still believe in ever after with you

And now we're slightly weathered, we're slightly worn
Our hands grip together, eye to eye through the storm, yet
I still believe in ever after with you, yeahhhhh
Cuz life is a pleasure with you by my side,
And there ain't no current in this river we can't ride
I still believe in ever after with you

...I like..! :D

charlie and the chocolate factory

Went out last night with Geri to watch the last full show at Greenbelt 3. Three words: Not worth it.
I must admit Johnny Depp's acting is good, it was like a deja vu of Edwards Scissorhands. Pano, parehong ang puti ng mukha. Parang espasol. Hehehe. Anyhow, ayun, we both didn't like the movie. It was too shallow, I didn't expect the storyline to be like that. Super pambata. All the while I thought that Willy Wonka's a very evil person and killed the 4 children and their parents. Hehe..So much for this bad commentary..

There's nothing really special to write about but I just felt like blogging. I've got a new layout kse. Thanks to createblog.com and adobe photoshop. I really enjoyed designing my own template especially now that I know how to use adobe. Medyo nakakalito lang and requires so much patience. I just wish that my plan to study web designing will push through this September.

How time flies, it's mid-August already! Two months to go and i'll turn -- na!!Hehe..I'm not so excited about it and am actually not planning to celebrate. Whatever.

*Keep those comments coming. Thanks! :D

here.there

Here are my highlights from the days I haven't blogged.. :p

MIDNIGHT MADNESS!- made me mad..and Geri too! hehe..At first, I didn't know that there was a midnight sale in Glorietta last weekend. I just found it out when I asked Geri if we can go out coz I had to know what happened to her (details can't be divulged in here..sorry!). We went there a little late since she came from work pa. I really enjoyed our bonding and reminiscing moments while going crazy over shopping! I was glad we spent the night together and learned a lot of kakiyan from her. And yea, we still haven't changed--we're still the same old "reality checker" girls. Weheeeeww..

happy happy joy joy..

-I bought a pair of pink shoes at CMG (originally priced 2k down to 800!!).Best buy. I like it.
-ultra face base and shimmer lip gloss from Body Shop. Nice.
-A pink bag from Bayo put a grin on my face (although it wasn't on sale)

++
After the shopping, we went to The Fort with hopes that we can stay at Pier One. Shux..We forgot that there was an MTV event that night. Jampacked. Good thing though that the Bazaar was still open, I bought dangling earrings and a rainbow colored belt. Oh so pretty!

Ended up drinking somewhere at The Fort Strip. I forgot what bar it was. But I knew, dead sure, she wanted to stay at Cafe Havana in Greenbelt. Haha..Ayoko! Why? Ask her!! :p

The End.

6 UNDERGROUND

It was my first time to go that place. That much talked about place. A way down under place. And it was found somewhere along the streets of Palanca. So what? Nothing.Labo.

Famous for the great music (for the rock fanatics), famous for celebrities hanging out there (sshhh, I saw Ryan A..-without Juday..chika!), and famous for cheap drinks (SML @70-buy 1 take one), and yep, no entrance fee. Not bad huh?!
Performers were not all good which made our two bodyguards from Maranata (:>) feel eager on trying on out there. Up Dharma Down rocked the place with house music. Actually, I didn't like their songs but they played real good though. However, the next band sucks. Hehe..Opinion lang po..Peace.
The place was packed with people- rockers and posers (daw) according to Mike. Mean boi. I'd love to go there again. I hope I'd watch my fave bands on stage..

* im no poser that night, i wore pink mules and brought my pink bag. Beeeehhhh!!!:p

Take us down, 6underground...
